Protaras Experience

Discover Protaras – The Best of Cyprus by the Sea

Flisvos Beach Apartments is located in the heart of Protaras, a vibrant seaside resort known for its crystal-clear waters, family-friendly beaches, and relaxed atmosphere. Part of the greater Paralimni town on the eastern coast of Cyprus, Protaras offers a blend of natural beauty, local charm, and lively tourism — all just steps from your apartment.

The Perfect Place to Swim

One of the biggest advantages of staying in Protaras is the sea itself. Facing east, the coastline is uniquely sheltered from waves and strong winds, making the waters here calm, safe, and exceptionally clean — perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or simply floating in the turquoise shallows. It’s no wonder Protaras is considered one of the best swimming destinations in Europe.

Everything You Need, Just Around the Corner
Flisvos Beach Apartments is ideally located:

  • Just 100 metres from the beach, Flisvos offers a peaceful setting that’s tucked away from the noise of bars and nightlife, yet close enough that everything is within easy walking distance.
  • Across the road from a convenient mini-market (Golden Star Supermarket)
  • Opposite Second Cup Protaras, a great spot for coffee
  • Right next to Mandali Hotel, where our guests are welcome to use the pool, enjoy any paid services such as breakfast, lunch, or dinner, or even book a massage  or gym session

If you’re in the mood for something special, Rocas Experience, one of the most unique and stylish restaurants in the area, is just a short walk away — and Flisvos guests can park in their private lot free of charge.

For bigger shopping runs, Lidl Protaras is also nearby, and you’ll find dozens of bars, tavernas, cafes, and shops lining the main Protaras strip — a scenic red-paved road that runs from McDonald’s to Fig Tree Bay. Flisvos is just a 5-minute walk from the start of this street, giving you easy access to the action, while still enjoying a quiet location.

What About the Off-Season?

Protaras is a highly seasonal town. It’s bustling in the summer months, particularly from April to early November. In the winter (mid-November to the start of the Easter holidays), the area becomes much quieter, with only a few restaurants and cafés remaining open. If you’re planning a winter visit, we highly recommend having a car, as it’s the perfect time to explore the broader Famagusta region, including Kapparis, Pernera, Paralimni centre, Ayia Napa, and traditional villages inland.
